Howard Johnson by Wyndham San Marcos

Location. Cleanliness, comfortable

I was given a room that had a door that communicated to another room, it was like there was nothing, the person in the other room was loud until very late at night. I think the hotel should only give those rooms to families or groups that come together.

It was located close to places we needed to go. The staff was very friendly.

It is definitely an old property and needs some attention. There was a used towel hanging on the back of the door from the person who stayed there before us. The bed was comfortable. We appreciated the fact that it had a refrigerator. The towel rack fell off the wall. It’s not a bad place to stay. It just clearly needs a little more attention to detail. The price was right and the staff was friendly. It would not be my first choice on my next trip however it certainly is a far cry from my last choice. It’s somewhere right in the middle.
