Not the cleanest, not very comfortable, lack of facilities, and overall maintenance.

The place is super nice in front of the beach and a view. The vibe is very homy and the hosts are super chilled and relaxed. Loved it here ✨

Really nice Guesthouse in front of the beach. The owners are really helpful for any question you would ask. The dorm was clean, the bed big enough. Bathrooms were okay. The vibe is chill, go there if you want to relax 😌

Great spot. Very nice and welcoming people. Common area with lots of board games encourages meeting other people. 20 steps away from the ocean. Dorms comfy with nice mattresses, curtains, lights, and powerful fans. Local Restaurant behind the hostel serves noodle soup for $1.50, best deal on the island. We loved our stay here!! Not a party place but social. You can keep to yourself or hang out with others.

I initially went just for a tattoo and thought that would be the best part of my trip to the island ... ""how misguided I was 😆"" Upon arrival I was greeted by Mads and Mathilda like I was an old friend invited to relax have a beer and a chat in the lovely chill space right on the beautiful beach, they advised me of the places for good food smoothies coffee and the nicest spots to spend the evenings. My dorm had a terrace facing the sea and waking up in the most comfortable bed so far in Asia I listened to the waves crashing and felt the cooling breeze, total heaven 🥹 We had fun board games nights, bonfire and beer, toasting marshmallows , boat trips to the best beaches on th island borrow a mask and go snorkeling in the day and at night go to see the bioluminescent plankton ,and lots of hanging out on bean bags on the beach or in the shaded chill areas . I stayed only 2 nights as they were fully booked but was made to feel so welcome that every morning for the next week I came to do a yoga class had a smoothie next door and planned my day around spending as much time as I could at Seashell . The sadness upon leaving 😪😪. If the speedboat to the mainland hadn't been so much hilarious fun I probably would have shed a tear or 2.....

I had the chance to extend my stay at the Seashell and spent around 9 days here. I couldn’t have found a better place to spend Xmas far away from my family. Mads and Mathilde organised an amazing Xmas dinner with all the guests and local people! We played a danish game and had funny presents, food was deliiiiicious and the atmosphere was so nice. I felt so welcomed, met lovely people, had the best sleep ever in a dorm (so comfy and quite, with an amazing view on the sea). The common area is soooo chill, you are 5 meters away from the sea, the dogs are lovely (I miss Tristan) and as M Pai Bay is a very small village, you can do everything by walking. I loved this place and the whole village so much. It is truly a paradise and I’m grateful for the time I had there. Thank you Mathilde, Mads, I wish you the best for life 🫶🏼

Can’t find a single thing that I didn’t like, everything was perfect!

Stayed twice now. It’s my favourite hostel in Southeast Asia so far!! Can only recommend staying here😁😁
