Lovely little place. Was there during low season. Loved it. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable, the owners are lovely and the common area is just the nicest place to chill and hang out with travellers. M'pai Bay is a remote place on the island - it is calm, quiet and peaceful where you can stop, breathe and relax. Just a simple and autenthic village inhabited by welcoming and beautiful people. Highly recommend to stop here.

The hostel is absolutely adorable, as are the owners and their dogs. Downstairs, there’s a chill-out area with a direct view of the sea. There’s also a balcony with two great chairs where you can sit, watch the ocean, or listen to the sounds. The bathroom doesn’t have hot water, but on the islands, it’s not really necessary. Each bed has its own fan, so it doesn’t get too hot, even without air conditioning. I stayed for several days, extending my stay every day because I didn’t want to leave. It was hard to say goodbye to both the island and the hostel. The owners are super sweet, and the dogs are incredibly friendly. We had game nights and even went to see the bioluminescence at the beach. We also visited a waterfall with a nice swimming pool. I highly recommend this hostel, the staff, the owners, and this charming little place!

lovely hostel directly located at the beach runned by a danish couple (Mathilda and Mads). As I arrived I got a warm welcome from the owners as well as one of their dogs. If you like dogs you will love this place and the island ;). I extended my stay 2 times because it's a perfect social and calm place. Their are a lot of boardgames provided. The rooms are clean and every bed comes with their own mosquito-net and fan. You may should ask for a small tattoo from Mathilda. I got 2 from her. At the back of the hostel you will find the best noodle soup of the island and maybe of whole Cambodia. You should try this. You also can enjoy a really nice sunrise in front of the hostel and a longer and calm beach is in walking distance.
