Chavez Eco Beach Camping and Cabañas

This place is a gem in nestled between big resorts and beach clubs. The tent I had was amazing with a view to kill. The nights are amazing with all the stars and the wind blowing through. I absolutely loved it. I got the meet the owner Mr Chavez he was very nice and welcomed me warmly. Josuel helped me with anything I needed he was very nice. There are a family of raccoons that come to eat at night by the kitchen which is very cute. I already recommence this place to my friends!!! Thanks so much 😊 Ps: got to see a turtle in the dark which was absolutely incredible!!

I wish the tents had a fan and charging plugs other than that this place is great!

Acampar frente al mar, la señora que atiende es muy amable y hay posibilidad de ver tortugas que vienen a dejar sus huevos. También la posibilidad de hacer kayak. El amanecer es hermoso y la noche estrellada es excelente.

Baños y duchas en muy mal estado Para cargar tu celular debes ir a un lugar no hay más habilitados

This was my third time staying at Camping Chavez since 2019. It’s truly my favorite spot in Tulum. That said, I do love more of a camping vibe. Sleeping in the tent on the beach and listening to the ocean as you sleep is amazing. I usually book a tent for the week and end up staying one night during my stay somewhere a little fancier (for balance), and I still always make sure I start and end here. It’s a great location over all, great people, good wifi, and a helpful staff. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks 🙏💗😊

I’d love a second hammock down by the beach. But truly, no complaints. You’ll hear music from neighboring hotels/beach clubs, but that’s pretty true for most the spots in the area.

Incredible location. Camping on the beach for a very affordable rate in the middle of people paying a ton of money for super built up resort hotels. Opening your tent to see the beach and ocean is pretty special. Nice outdoor kitchen on site. Farid/Freddy very cool and helpful. Nice wifi and working spaces. Felt very safe there.

Half of beach chairs old and in disrepair. Mattress inside of tent wasn't great quality, pretty uncomfortable, but for the price you sacrifice some things. Bathrooms you need to walk to at the front of the property, they are simple and rustic, but again you get what you pay for.
