The rooms are new and beautiful. Very clean. The outdoor bathroom is very pretty. Staff were very attentive.

The “bar” only sells beer and Coca Cola.

A brand new place opened early 2023. So everything is working and in good shape. Close to the beach. Diving school, kite surf school, restaurant are close by. Good bang for the buck.

Since the place is brand-new, some elements dont feel like they have a routine etc. as you would expect it. However, Gayan was always there to help and fix it fast.

clean, comfortable, nice pool, the food was amazing! chef Nilushan cooked fantastically great big prawns, plenty of choice. enjoyable relaxing stay. attention to detail. very friendly staff.

nothing - the beach could be a little easier to access.

Firstly The room was so beautiful nice and clean and we really liked it. And the staff was so friendly thank you so much for everything..❤️ fantastic facilities, great views and super friendly and helpful staff. Food was great too - breakfast and dinner was great, big portions alert!!Fantastic for weekends and longer stays. Great location enjoyed staying there.. we mostly enjoyed in the pool such a massive pool.loved it so much.. great and lovely service .. going to come again and again❤❤❤again thank you so much for everything 💗

While walking through Kalpitiya, we found a hidden gem at the Blue Wave, an absolutely beautiful, brand new resort on the beach. We were welcomed and given a tour of the resort by the friendly owner, Piomi Perera, and immediately knew the Blue Wave was where we would stay, a brilliant decision on our part. The facility includes a huge swimming pool, large, airy, open cabanas with a/c and big bathroom with warm shower. The restaurant is staffed with a professionally trained chef, Damith Kalkar, who comes to your table to suggest menu selections and returns after the meal to ensure all was fine. Excellent, attentive staff throughout.
