Newly Remodeled Motel in Gatlinburg!

It was beautiful and clean.

The only thing we would change is there was no blinds in the room with the bunk beds. Our kids ended up not coming with us however, so we didn’t mind keeping the door shut.

The room was amazing. The bed was softest I’ve slept on.

The parking was a little tricky.

The initial two towels you got folded on the end on the bed were nice and fluffy. It’s in a good location. Parking while limited and tight, is free. There is a bus stop right in front to ride to downtown. It’s also on a direct route for emergency services so you will hear them all night long. There is a nice coffee machine in your room as long as you bring your own coffee because none is provided. There is a blow drier if you can find a plug because they have night light or a lamp screwed into every available plug blocking at least one outlet and one receptacle even had a WiFi router plugged into it. But there is WiFi! The tv is large and there is a Roku remote to hook up your own streaming services to it because it doesn’t have live TV. Also bring batteries for the Roku because the batteries didn’t work and we had to buy some at a novelty store downtown to make it work. There is a king size memory foam mattress that is set on a slate frame so when you lay on it make sure you lay on the very edge so you don’t sink down in the middle and bust a hernia trying to climb out of it. If you have more than one person sleeping in the bed like I did take one of the stools provided for the table and set it beside the bed so each person can have the idea of an end table to set your phone on.

This is not a Motel. It’s a self proclaimed Micro Air B and B. No ice on property. The hot water in the shower never actually got hot but the water in the sink would burn you if left on for too long. The shower was missing tiles, the poorly painted tub was chipping off in big chunks, and the tub downspout wasn’t attached to a support so I was terrified it would break every time I tried to lift the lever to turn the shower on. They put a memory foam king size mattress on a slate frame with no other supports so when you laid on it for more than 5 minutes you sunk into a hole that felt like trying to climb Mount Everest to get out of. Speaking of the bed I have never slept on a louder and squeakier bed in my life, it also wasn’t attached to the head board so as I to tried to climb out of the bed it would slide around the room. Every receptacle had something permanently screwed into it whether it was a lamp, night light, or a WiFi router there was very limited places to plug a hair drier, cell phone charger, or cpap… some people need more than one plug.

Supposed to be no pets allowed,roomed covered in dog hair,sheets were not clean,had hair all over them,asked for discount on room and host said they had no control over,room smelled like dog!Be aware the beds are a $100 amazon bed frame,not sturdy!

TV remote was missing but we downloaded the Roku app on phone so no biggie.

The only thing i have to complain about is the shower water wouldn’t get hot enough.

The cabin look with bears ! I love bears ❤️

No heat in the bathroom ! But what we did is use a little 22.00 plug in heater to take baths ! But it’s not a big deal ! King size head board hits the wall lol
