Newly Remodeled Motel in Gatlinburg!

The manager was amazing. When we arrived and were worried about our room facing on coming traffic with no barrier he gave us another room bigger than the one we had with no additional charge. The first room was spotless unfortunately the other room was not it was not clean and had nomours fruit flys . I informed him, he sent a cleaning service the next day which did not do a good job. I didn't complain after that, twice was enough for me. He gave us an upgrade and sent someone to clean when we were not happy plus he gave us a basket of TN favorite things. I told him the first room was spotless and hoped when he sent his cleaner that the room would be cleaned as the first, it was not, it was tolerable.

Loved that it was all wood, reminded me of being in a cabin. Was nice & clean.

Bathroom didn’t have any outlets. No hair dryer which most hotel/motel have them. No heat in bathroom, where heater is located it doesn’t heat bathroom.

Still needs to consider updating a few things. Some things that were updated looks like with minimal effort.

Location to downtown

The parking was awful and only one spot per unit but people kept parking in our assigned spot when choosing another one we got left a nasty note on our car. The heater put off a burning smell every time we tried to use it. The footboard of the bed was covered with what appeared to be animal hair and the blind was broken on arrival. Beds uncomfortable. Also the plug for the hvac unit was protruding out the wall. For a newly remodeled location I was less than pleased. When speaking to the property manager we were told sorry to hear that.
