Newly Remodeled Motel in Gatlinburg!

The decor and bed was very comfortable

The location was great, the bed was comfortable and the pillows. Beautiful inside.

I was in love when we first walked in. But unit 12 balcony hadn't been cleaned. We could not sit out and listen to the river because it had cob weds and big spiders all on the windows and balcony door. Then while sitting on the bed I noticed the bed slides on the floor. There should be a rug to hold it in place because it has the bed rails bending. Due to further looking in the floor every where you look was small water snails. And some types of worms. So we put nothing on the floor. Big Spider in the bathroom on top of the shower wall... So only an 8 because the decor and layout was nice on the inside.

Needs drawers for clothing. Front door needs to be weather sealed.

My husband and I looked for an accomodation for a one night stay in Gatlinburg . Read some of the reviews on the motel and it sounded ok, unfortunately I should have read more. We arrive at the motel and there is no parking lot. You park in a designated space on the road behind the motel. I then proceed to walk all around looking for the office to check in, well there isn't one and there is no staff on the premises. I had to call the # on my booking receipt to get a key code from Chris. Ok, get our room # and go down the stairs which had water trickling down the side of them and what appeared to be mold on them. Leaves in front of the entry to the room. Opened the door and was greeted by a musty smell. Bathroom shower faucet leaking, shower handle pulling away from the shower wall and paint starting to peel off shower walls. My husband sat on one of the bench seats and a screw fell out. One pod for two guests for the Keurig coffee maker. We are seniors and the accommodations were sub standard. I notified Chris and told him we were not staying and could we get a refund. He told me to contact Booking because they scheduled the stay. I sent them an email and they have not responded. After saying all the negatives, I can agree that the rooms were renovated and appeared to be clean. Would appreciate your help in getting us a refund for this incomplete stay. We ended up going home and needless to say disappointed never seeing Gatlinburg. Bonnie
