Piazza Maggiore Santa Margherita Rooms

First of all great location! Nice little penthouse apartment with a lovely terrace. As a small B&B there is no served breakfast but some packaged treats and coffee were by the fridge.

Bit of a shame the open area of the apartment is ‘open’ to the guests downstairs - there is no door, only stairs and a curtain so always had to leave valuables inside the lockable bedroom area. The contact who let us into the place was lovely. The contact person online from Santa Margherita had a bit of an attitude when we asked if there was a locker/room we could leave our luggage while waiting for our flight. Being told ‘it’s not a negotiation’ when just trying to find a best solution not so classy.

Zeer goede locatie. Centraal gelegen in de stad. Het appartement is zeer proper en licht. Ook het terrasje is heel aangenaam en ideaal om even uit te blazen.

Het ontbijt dat aangeboden wordt, is geen echt ontbijt. Als niet professionele host, mogen zij (volgens de Italiaanse regelgeving) geen "warm" ontbijt aanbieden. Daardoor bestaat het ontbijt uit 3 pakjes met 2 beschuitjes, theezakjes en enkele koffiecapsules. Dit is wat weinig wanneer je er van uit gaat dat je een volwaardig ontbijt zal krijgen alvorens aan je dag te beginnen.

Läget och själva boendet var verkligen fantastiskt. Vi hade en incident i lägenheten. De två som kom och hjälpte oss var mycket trevliga. Jag tror att det var ägaren och en anställd.

Frukosten. Det stod italiensk frukost och det kanske det ska föreställa. Små förpackningar med smaklösa små kex, skorpor, croissanter, juice, yoghurt och massor av marmeladpaket. Det hade varit bra om det hade funnits lite frukt och grönsaker. Tycker att det är synd när Italien har så mycket goda saker att erbjuda. Eftersom vi inte mår särskilt bra av att starta dagen genom att äta vitt mjöl och socker så köpte vi egna råvaror. Den person som vi hade kontakt med via chat borde skriva och uttrycka sig betydligt mer proffesionellt och ha bättre ton i det han skrev. Det var enkla praktiskt frågor som krävde enkla och vänliga svar. Dessa två saker borde vara mycket enkla att förbättra.

The sleeping room and the romnatic little terrace

So many stairs to 3rth floor, some stairs to go from bath to sleeping room and back. No door isolating your apartament (upstairs room) from from lower plant appartment (although independant, they share the entrance) so you ear more than desired unless you close your room door. No kitchen or place to heat or cook something. Perfect to sleep, not so comfortable to stay during the day.

The place is nice and really well located . The owner had good communication with us and was nice

It doesn’t have a lift and it was on the third floor . And the staff got snappy . We had already agreed on an hour to meet and get into the apartment . Then he sent a message while we were on the train with an ominous : if you don’t answer no one will be there to meet you. Really? When internet on trains is not so good ? We had already agreed .

The room was exactly as expected and Enrico(the hoast) was very helpful. The location was excellent, very close to main Plaza and in the same time in a quiet area. We walked everywhere, everything was very close.
