The location of this property is undeniably its strongest point—it's conveniently situated and makes getting around very easy. One positive note worth mentioning is that upon our arrival, we were informed that we could leave our luggage in the room after check-out because we had a late flight, and our space wasn’t booked by another guest. This gesture was greatly appreciated, as it allowed us to enjoy the remainder of our day without the hassle of lugging our bags around or searching for an alternative storage solution. While this convenience was helpful, it was one of the few highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, the overall experience left much to be desired, as there were several other aspects where the property fell short.

Unfortunately, this property fell significantly short of my expectations. When making my booking, I believed I was reserving a hotel and anticipated the amenities and services typically associated with such accommodations—on-site staff, daily housekeeping, and a proper reception desk. However, just two days before our arrival, the property contacted us to confirm our arrival time. It was only then that we realized this was not a hotel but an apartment rental. This revelation came as a surprise and was quite disappointing. While I understand that "B&B" properties can vary, my prior experience booking B&B accommodations in other cities had always involved actual hotels with full services. While the Booking.com chat feature provided quick responses to our inquiries, the actual resolution of problems was frustratingly slow. One of the most disappointing aspects of the property was the so-called “breakfast.” The listing described breakfast as part of the stay, which was a key factor in our decision to book. However, what was provided was far from a proper meal—pre-packaged croissants, low-quality juice, and crackers. Such an offering felt both uninspired and misleading, especially given the property’s high price point. For the cost, we expected a proper breakfast that matched the standard of a premium accommodation. Another area of disappointment was the handling of towels. While I strongly support sustainability initiatives and appreciate the need for eco-friendly practices, requiring guests to use the same towel for four consecutive days is simply unreasonable. Towels are a basic amenity, and for a comfortable stay, guests should have the option to refresh them as needed. This is especially true in humid climates or after multiple uses. A more balanced approach—such as allowing guests to request fresh towels every other day—would better balance sustainability goals with guest comfort.

Soap dispenser had no soap in. Plastic cups melted with hot drinks in.

Great location. Liked the balcony very much for relaxing after walking round the streets of Bologna. Good communication from host.

Needs a door at the bottom of the stairs to the apartment. Only the bedroom was lockable and it felt vulnerable. Anyone from the floor below could have come up the stairs.

Great location. Spacious.

Flat could use some finishing touches. For example the bathroom needs toilet paper holder, towel holder, counter space, etc. Just a few conveniences. The breakfast was also not very inspirational, pile of cheap processed food. Nevertheless good value.

Location was perfect.

Apartment was not really private. Four flights of steps with luggage is a bit much. A suite downstairs had access to all but our bedroom. The booking.com confirmation stated there was a washing machine, and I expected to do laundry there after much travel through the region, but there was none available. I received no customer service from Booking.com or the host on this point. Breakfast provided included yogurt, toast crackers, packaged croissants, orange juice and nespresso coffee capsules.
