Great location, beautiful apartment with modern facilities, including great aircon. Quiet little village on a hilltop, which an occasional bar at the bottom of the park, making for an idyllic holiday stay location. Easy access to many places around Tuscany. And the hosts are very responsive should you need additional household goods during your stay.

Not the property’s fault but beware that it’s a bit of a climb from the parking to the flat so better to attempt driving up to drop bags before going down to park. While the kitchen is ready for cooking, there is no olive oil so would have to bring your own.

Posizione ottima, il borgo è piccolo e accogliente e abbiamo avuto la fortuna di beccare pure la rievocazione medievale. Camere estremamente ampie e accoglienti, dotate di tutti i comfort. Authentic family home. Loved the outdoor terrace. Andrea was a kind and accommodating host. Easy parking a slight walk away. Well stocked. Very clean.

Laterina is a very low key village without many services.

Everything was as it should be! Mrs. Ana Maria was very kind and helpful! Warm welcome from Ana Maria, beautiful old house, nice and quiet place with kind people, big terrace, nice kitchen, those are things we will remember! 🙂👍

We loved everything about our stay. We were looking for a traditional hilltop village, and Laterina is just that. We were looking for the opportunity to visit special Tuscan locations, Chianti, Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Florence, and we visited all of these and more, although it is beneficial to have a car in order to do so. Anna Maria was so welcoming, making our trip extra special… thank you Anna Maria. The apartment was very warm and comfortable, with everything you need for a longer stay, including a balcony area, which was welcome on the sunnier days. This is a perfect place to relax or as a touring base.

In a 500 year old building, there are a few tricks to learn, but nothing that wasn’t easily overcome. As to be expected in a hilltop village, there was a need to climb stairs and slopes. It gets easier the more you do it. There is short term car parking in the piazza next to the apartment.

We loved it all! What a beautiful village and stunning apartment! Anna Maria the best host ever, so helpful and lovely, and her husband too. I cannot recommend enough and cannot wait to go back! Car park is only 250 metres away and always a lot of spaces available. Stunning views and friendly people in the village. Great location, we travelled by car or by train. Trully lovely place!
