The pool, the pool, the pool. Location, location, location. Andy, the manager is helpful and accommodating. Negative reviews of Andy are misguided.

A little bit of noise in the morning from a cute charming kid next door. Not a real problem. Not a complaint, come on folks, we’re traveling! Enjoy!

Great location, architecture.

The soundproofing was an issue; street noise (motorcycle, speeding car) was audible at mid night.

- Great location - Access to the pool 24 hours (there is shallow part, just calf lengthn for kids, the pool is about 1.3m, I'm 1.43m and the water level is at my neck) - Hair dryer/ iron is available at the counter - Cold and hot water available - Sink to wash dishes also available, bowls plates cutlery mugs available - got microwave also - There is a TV, hammock, bed and couch at the common area (upstairs) - Staff is helpful (Andy), he ensured our safety when we swim at night - No ghost here ok - For Muslim, bring your own prayer mat and attire - Plan b restaurant is quite expensive, you can try the Arif Cendol, Miker Pizza (5 min walk to Ipoh Padang) and Nasi Ayam Taugeh Las Vegas ( 2 mins walk) and Rahmath nasi kandar

Bidetless toilet Bathroom has a glass wall, the sheer curtain can still see through 👀 Standard queen room is building just beside plan b, the pool is in another building (i think for superior room), so have to walk a bit - parking is tough. Remember to pay the parking fee if u come monday-saturday using the apps park@perak

Ipoh é uma cidade, cuja pequena Old Town tem um potencial inacreditável. Não custa imaginar o potencial turistico deste centro historico a curto prazo. A arquitectura tradicional dos finais do séc XIX mantêm-se intactas e o potencial é extraordinário. Já existem uns quantos locais desde restauração, bares, lojas, coffee shops e outrs establecimentos que vêm acompanhar alguns restaurantes tradicoonais realmente autenticos. As lojas de artresanato, por sua vez ainda sao excessivamente de bugigangas chinesas sem partiocular interesse ou valor diferencial. Mesmo aqui no centro, no conjunto arquitectonico sem duvida mais bem recuperado de todo centro existe este hotel moderno e com todo o conforto, metido no meio de antigas ruinas inglesas numa mistura cheia de estilo, sofisiticação, conforto e engenho. A piscina ao nivel do 1º piso sobre as pequenas ruas de baixo e sob a sombra de colossais árvores e suas raizes é uma master piece de qualidade e se cada pequeno momento em Ipioh foi bem passado, a muito se deve a qualidade deste hotel. Experiência perfeita!! Temo que não consigamos repetir. Com a qualidade e estilo que tem o mais prov´vel é que os preços venham realmente (e com direito próprio) a subir, pelo que na nossa próxima tentativa daqui a uns anos provavelmente já esteja caro para nós. Para já, e ainda para mais perante o excepcional preço oferecido, qualquer nota abaixo de 10 seria penalizar algo realmente excepcional e super cool.

Location is good and convenient. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Directions to the reception and pool were very poor. The Indian gentleman called Andy was crude and unfriendly. Luckily his assistant, a Myanmar gentleman tipped the scale. He was courteous and helpful. Bathroom shower water pressure was poor. There is one section in the alley that smells.

L'hôtel est incroyable !!! Le côté industriel est un vrai plus et l'aspect insolite ajoute un réel cachet au séjour. Les chambres et les lits étaient très confortables. L'accueil a été très chaleureux et l'hôte est d'une extrême gentillesse: toujours prêt a repo dire à nos besoins ou envies ! Notre meilleur hôtel en Malaisie.

Un peu de bruit dans la rue la nuit mais rien de vraiment dérangeant
