The Villa Country House Hotel

The bedroom was clean and had everything we needed. Our breakfast was good on both mornings - lots of fresh fruits, croissants etc., plus a good choice of freshly cooked breakfasts. All of the staff were friendly, efficient and very welcoming.

The hotel could do with a refurb. throughout, which I believe is about to happen.

Location and setting. The hotel Dining Room is lovely.

Dinner in the evening was a bit stodgy, but breakfast was very good. There was a frequent clicking sound in our Bathroom all night

Lovely hotel with very cosy and oldschool decor. Very well set up for venue hire but also works as a basecamp hotel. (Looking forward to seeing future plans) Fabulous bar area. Good breakfast and decent dinner or walkable distance to the local village pub. Rooms were very clean and cosy!

Could have had some TV or something basic for some evening entertainment.

We were kindly offered an upgrade to a family room The single beds in the room were beds just for children - not adults !! Beds were so uncomfortable , Awful WiFi reception in the room as well

Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice, Hotel setting is lovely Staff are very friendly and accommodating

The only negatives we had is that the room had a bath with a shower in and we prefer a shower cubicle . And we find the evening menu a bit limited although food served is lovely
