The Villa Country House Hotel

Beautiful property in beautifully manicured setting. Property has character and charm. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the roasted cauliflower soup! Nice surprise was no car parking charges!

On EE, I had no signal at all so something to be aware of in this location

Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Very good food. Air conditioning unit in our room was easy to work and extremely responsive unlike those in many other hotels we have stayed in. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend stay.

A small point. Given that the hotel was not terribly busy, the service in the restaurant and bar was a little leisurely at times but this did not change how much we enjoyed our stay.

Not so much a dislike but the evening meal menu was quite limited, but I'm sure that's only a temporary thing due to new staff and owners

Superb evening meal and breakfast.

The only point I didn't see on the booking or informed was that when dinner is included, it actually limits you to £35 pp - not a major issue as the food was exceptional anyway...more a small point.

We had a fantastic stay , the staff were brilliant they looked after us all day and night and the morning after the breakfast was superb.
