3 Bedroom Penthouse Apartment

I enjoyed how spacious the apartment was, the balcony view and the cosyness of the property.

excellent host and view, a lot of cooking equipment, 3 bedrooms with 3 toilets, half an hour to the city center with tram

The location and parking convenience

The kitchen needs to be refurbished. The crockery and cutlery and pots and pans need to be upgraded. The washing machine wasn’t cleaned out. The bathrooms need attention - toilet in the main bathroom wasn’t working. Neither was the toilet in the en-suite. The dining room chairs were very unstable

This would be a great place to stay if everything was in good working order. The town center is a relatively short car ride from the flat and there is a Metrolink stop in walking distance. The beds were very comfortable and the flat is for the most part nicely furnished. When the skies are clear, there are amazing views of Heaton Hall, Manchester town center, and the Pennines. The owner, Gary, was a very nice guy and responsive to our text messages throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, our stay did not match the great reviews we had read. We encountered several problems which led to a disappointing stay overall. These are the issues we encountered. - We were told that the toilet flush in the main bathroom required a strong push; however, we found that it was next to impossible to get it to flush so we opted to not use it. This was inconvenient since there were four of us relying on the master suite toilet and the one in the entry downstairs. - When we attempted to use the washing machine it was full of dirty water. We ran the drain & spin cycle and then did a load of laundry. Unfortunately, at the end of the cycle an error message popped up and the door would not open. We contacted Gary and he came by, got our laundry out and made arrangements for our laundry to be done, which we appreciated. - We tried to use the stove to cook some breakfast and we were not able to get it to work. After messaging Gary he offered to show us how to use it; however, at that point we had made other arrangements for our breakfast. - There was a big water leak in the downstairs bedroom causing the clothes in the suitcase directly underneath the leak to get saturated.

Gary was super nice and always available. We had a really nice stay.

the only minor thing was a little bit of cleanliness - the apartment was overall very clean but I think someone forgot to clean the kitchen sink as it wasn’t clean and food remnants in the sink the bath mat in the shower smelt very damp so we put that to one side the washing machine wasn’t working either which was a slight inconvenience as we had laundry to do - but Gary did warn us about that

Stunning view and lots of space

It definitely needed a bigger Tv on living room and TVs on rooms too, rest is perfect I think.

Apartment was one of the best I have stayed in, beautifully funished and had everything we need during our stay. Beds were so comfie and great views from balcany.
