A real gem of a place! Anita was there when I arrived, and she kindly showed me around and explained everything I needed to know. Anita and family gave me complete privacy during my stay, so I had a very relaxed and peaceful night! I had the twin room with ensuite. This was all very clean, so I felt very comfortable and at home. There was a literal blizzard outside, but I slept very well and didn't need the extra heater as it was already a very comfortable temperature in the room. The WiFi was excellent. Tea and coffee was provided in the room, as well as filtered water. Nice touch! There were also drawers and hanging space for clothes. Despite being at the top of the house, there were no problems with sloping ceilings. Only the ends of the room are sloping, so I never had to duck (I'm 6ft 1in). I was able to park directly outside the property, and there were other spaces very nearby. It's a quiet street, so I had no worries whatsoever about the car. The area is tucked away yet only about a 15-minute stroll to the town centre (about a five-minute drive). Ideal. I'll definitely stay again next time I need a room in the area.
