Kalliopi Studios - Apartments

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kalliopi Studios Apartments in Kato Daratso for seven nights, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. Our large twin room for two adults was exactly as described on Booking.com—spacious, bright, and beautifully furnished. It became a cozy retreat after our daily adventures, where we could recharge and dream about our next explorations. From the moment we arrived, the clear directions from the host guided us effortlessly to this hidden gem. The daily cleaning service kept our space immaculate, allowing us to focus on what really mattered: making memories. The staff were not just friendly; they radiated warmth and positivity, always ready to lend a hand with a smile. The location is simply perfect, just a short walk from the beach, where we enjoyed blissful morning walks and refreshing evening swims. The nearby city center welcomed us with charming shops, delightful restaurants, and fascinating attractions, all within easy reach. We would like to have 2 cards for electricity because the card is attached to the key and in the evening you need to lock the doors in complete dark.

Perfectly located, 30 mins walk to Chania center is almost unnoticeable, but you are staying in a nice quiet area next to a beautiful beach which was not crowded at all! The owner is very friendly and hospitable, he treated us very well and helped with anything we needed. The room was very tidy, cleaned every day and had everything we needed. There is enough space and the balcony is a nice touch. If you have a late flight, you can spend all day at the beach and still have a shower and dry your beachwear in the common area before leaving. Super convenient!

A bit far from the center on foot, around 45 minutes (but only 20 minutes away from the restaurants facing the sea) I could not open the door on the balcony without my husband's help, but i told this to the owner and i hope they will fix it soon (it's because if all the humidity, but still, i would have liked to be able to open the door on my own)

Spotlessly clean, great host, nice little kitchen, quiet place great for rest! The closest beach is a few minutes walking from the place and a few other beautiful ones are walking distance away too! Something I really liked were comfortable beds! There's a small shop a few minutes away where you can buy small things such as bus tickets and a big supermarket around the corner where you can get your groceries from. Getting to Chania city center was easy by 10-15 minutes bus ride, or walking 20-25 minutes along the beach! Highly recommend this place!

Very clean and quiet and beautiful scenery very close to the beach. The honor waited us until 9:45 PM (we landed at Chanina airport at 7:45 PM) and handed us a cold water bottle when we arrived and did not ask for checking in because we were exhausted. the unit was cleaned every day with new sheets and towels. Two large supermarkets are at the local bus station (it takes 2-3 minutes to get there on foot from the unit).

It takes 30-40 minutes to the old city and bus terminal on foot. But local bus station is close to the unit (2 Euros for one way/person).

Comfortable and spacious room with excellent air conditioning and a lovely view! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Walking distance to town centre and the beach was right outside! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
