GBGood location lovely clean village room was small but we don't spend that much time in it bed was comfortable and bathroom lovely but extractor fan bid not have a cover on bistro was lovely and cakes delicious staff very friendly
do not do evening meals now so had to go to another pub fried breakfast was good but had to order night before which is not a problem but there was no cereal or fruit and yoghurt
GBThe staff were so friendly and helpful. Everywhere was clean and dressed beautifully. We were invited over to Paxton to the partnership pub for a meal which was fantastic. I have never eaten so much! And got a bonus discount on our meal because we were guests. We had a fantastic stay and felt like when we left we had made new friends. If we ever get the opportunity we would love to return.
I need to have a sleep during the day due to a medical condition and our room was next to the stairs. Something I have to live with but it did get noisy sometimes

GBThe room was very comfortable and exactly as described. Breakfast was excellent. A small hotel in Northumberland. Would certainly recommend and stay again if in the vicinity.

Astounded that an establishment that calls itself a “Hotel and Bistro” does not offer evening meals! Luckily there is another hotel couple of minutes up the road, the Masons Arms, that offers excellent food. Also disappointed that this hotel has not published my review on their site, having asked me to give them one.
