Très bon accueil, petite chambre charmante avec ventilateur. Nos hôtes étaient très gentils et aidant, site calme, terrasse agréable

Un petit peu excentré. Peut être prévoir des aménagements en cuisine, couverts, assiettes ainsi que des velos pour les déplacements en ville. Mais pas un réel problème

Fabulous homestay run by a delightful and extremely helpful couple. The owner looked after all our needs eg pickup bikes, showing us which free sites to visit, drop off at restaurants and station, took us to Mihinitale - all a great good rates. Great cooking, even to suit awkward dietary requirements, plus a fun, tasty cookery lesson in our house. Room was spacious with large shared sitting area and a shared kitchen area. Quiet part of town, tho school is nearby so you hear their singing - cute rather than disturbing! Great value for money and a special time for us there.

Given the very reasonable rates hard to complain about anything! The water for showers was tepid rather than hot but we didn’t mind.

We werden gratis opgehaald door de eigenaar van de cottage. Hij is super lief, mega behulpzaam en denkt graag met je mee tijdens je verblijf. Zijn vrouw kan mega lekker koken! Toen wij terug kwamen van de day tour stond ze al klaar met een bakje fruit. Het verblijf is groot en de kamers zijn erg schoon.

Gihan and Dinu were incredible hosts... 1. offering free pick up 2. Bicycles for hire 3. Information on sites that do not require the hefty usd entrance fee 4. Delicious breakfast and dinner Very informative and extremely hospitable, it was wonderful to hear their stories. Thank you for opening and sharing your home and taking care of us so well.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft unglaublich wohl gefühlt - dies vor allem aufgrund der sehr netten Besitzerfamilie! Sie sorgen dafür, dass man sich von Beginn weg wie zu Hause fühlt und sind sehr bemüht, einem zu helfen, wo sie können (bspw. Abholung an der Bushaltestelle, Teilen von vielen guten Empfehlungen, Stadtführung, Besuch des Marktes, viele persönliche Gespräche) - wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne und uneingeschränkt weiter! ☺️

Der Gastgeber ist das Highlight der Unterkunft.

Man könnte etwas transparenter sein, was die Preise der Zusatzleistungen angeht, wie Tuk Tuk Fahrten etc, aber das ist nur eine winzige Kleinigkeit die nichts an den 10 Sternen ändert, da die Preise vollkommen fair waren.

My stay at Corner Cottage will remain a positive memory of my time in Sri Lanka. Gihan and his wife truly care for all of their guests, looking after their wellbeing and also allowing for independence and privacy. It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

Une famille d'une exceptionnelle gentillesse qui fait tout son possible pour vous mettre à l'aise et vous faire découvrir la région. Gihan nous a fait visiter anurhadapura toute l'après-midi jusque début de soirée en nous attendant dans son tuktuk à chaque étape. Le petit déjeuner et dîner étaient délicieux. Un vrai bonheur de se retrouver dans une famille aussi accueillante et bienveillante. Merci gihan et dinu
