Holiday Apartment In Old Town

It's really central, just a 10 minute walk from Grass Market and a 5 minute bus ride to Waverley Station. The property is quite spacious and had more than enough room for 3 couples, 8 people would work if 2 of them didn't mind sleeping on a comfy couch. The host left plenty of water, milk, and juice and even some fresh flowers, which was a nice touch.

There was no dining table, so we had to eat with plates on laps on the couch, not the biggest inconvenience but something easily solved. The place is in desperate need of a bit of TLC, nothing horrifically egregious, but a lot of small things that make it look shabby that could be taken care of easily. The washing machine doesn't spin clothes enough to air dry them in a timely fashion, we left with wet clothes that had been hanging for days. The heaters are really fiddly and seemed to only go from super hot to off. The Wi-Fi was abysmal, most of the time it just didn't work and the host wasn't very responsive about it, I have a good roaming package so I just gave up asking for updates after a while, but if you're going to rely on the accommodation's Wi-Fi beware.

Nothing. DO NOT BOOK UP THIS APARTMENT IS A SCAM. nothing in the advertisement is correct. The owner told us to get out when we raised the issues. Refused to refund any money.

EVERYTHING. There was poo in the toilet, washing left in the kitchen, grubby walls, a chemical smell. You did not want to siton the bed never mind sleep there.

One of the bathrooms was so small, very very small sink and very small shower box.

Location and space and communication with staff all excellent.

I don’t think so anything wrong with this property.
