"Perfect retreat"

Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Place was spotlessly clean, warm and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others or to stay again

We loved the quiet location. It’s the ideal place to relax without any distractions or hassle. It’s a lovely drive to Whitby and outstanding views

"Nice location and good option for a short stay with your dog but better shower facilities would have made the stay more"

It was clean, allowed pets and in good location

The shower was very poor. Very little pressure and fluctuated between extremely hot and cold constantly. Also communication with the owners seemed to be just auto generated emails as no replies received to emails or text messages submitted.

"Really enjoyed our stay, very peaceful and cosy, helped by the wood burner, as a winter stay."

Cosy cottage. Clean and tidy. Lovely comfortable bed, slept very well. Dog friendly. Easy access and parking. Kitchen well equipped with appliances and really liked the coffee pods. Great wifi.

Personally I would have preferred more lounge area to relax in, but bed was ok to sit on and watch tv.

Exceptionally clean and homely! Attention to detail made us feel welcome, nice to have a cup of tea with the milk and cookies provided after a long drive.
