The New Kirkstead Guest House

Did not stop at the hotel when I get to the hotel I was greated by a male telling me kids ain't allowed I told him I wasn't aware as my little boy wasn't put down on the booking due to him only been 3 he was stopping in the double bed with me and his mom the owner said I would get my money back, then said I couldn't once left on text!! ( typical s*** stabber) still have not received my money

We booked for a room and got turned away as they don't expect children, unaware of this at the time as had booked hotel at the drop of a hate as my son was unwell. We got turned away and told we were to have refund to then only receive a message that no refund was going to be issued. As if its not costly enough and and to be told otherwise after being refused. Discussing!

The property is in a good location and the mattress was comfortable. The shower was lovely. We were greeted by the owner who seemed lovely and showed us around the property and to our room

Unfortunately the first night of our stay we noticed that the duvet sheet smelled of urine in one area, don't know if it was human or animal urine and the light had broke in the toilet. The next day we told the owner who said he will look into it and sort it, however when we arrived back after a day out the duvet sheet still had not been changed and the bathroom light was still broken so we were going to the toilet in the dark using our phone flashlight and sleeping with half a duvet. If we hadn't of been drinking that day we would of gone home that night.

Honestly the best place we have stayed in blackpool! Hosts are so friendly the room was perfect. The location is perfect! Will definitely be returning

I never had breakfast it was nice walking around Blackpool

Well in the room taps for water was poor and it could do with some repairs to the place

Close to the tower bed was comfy

Property was fine in the process of been updated

Excellent quiet, clean, friendly owners bed was comfy very reasonable price

Staff were lovely overall room quality was brillant it was quiet and comfortable for me and ny partner would highly recommend to others and will definitely be coming back
