Good quiet location, beautiful ocean view Stylishly clean room

Views from the balcony were absolutely incredible! Room was nice and comfortable, and the location was a 10/10!!

We booked and paid for a specific room which we did not get. And we were only given one roll of toilet paper on arrival, and we were there for 3 nights. Staff were fast and friendly whenever you asked them for help.

Only the room

No reception, no staff, no proper waiting area. No washbasin inside, only at balcony. No hangers! Not enough plugs! No proper restaurant or standard service bar for a coffee or juice or etc.

Absolutely stunning view- book the suites for best view! Nice and clean, newly modernised. Remote and quiet

The place is very remote and hard to get PickMe or Uber contact. The water didn’t really work very well as the suite had very low water pressure and sometimes none at all. Might be due to some renovating? but not so great when you need to shower. Not really any service at hotel, and you need to book towels separately. A beach bar nearby serves breakfast/ food

The location is incredible, and the views outstanding. The room and patio were well decorated and there’s a lot of potential. But, I do wonder about all these fantastic reviews as I’m sure we didn’t pay the same for what we got. On arrival, our room wasn’t fully clean, an old towel and a receipt left behind. There were moth balls all over the small room and bathroom (and a bathroom freshener) and it made the room stink. My clothes in suitcase all smelled after leaving. There were hairs left on floor (happens), but it just wasn’t cleaned properly. There are no basic amenities (you have to ask for toilet paper and towels) and just some hand wash in the bathroom, no bathroom rug. As others have mentioned, only a few rooms are finished and it there is potential for it to be a good spot in the future, but the pricing needs serious adjusting until then. The balconies are small and there is little to no privacy - ours was next to the gate where people would walk in in front of our balcony/window. Curtains are see through, so at night people could see through to our room. All these things are fine if you’re a hostel - it was not priced or marketed as such when we booked. Communication before and during our stay was also very poor. A big smile is lovely but we weren’t shown the property so I wasn’t aware there was anything else there or not, there is no reception area and it just wasn’t quite what it sold itself as. It feels like despite it being a new build, there are already a lot of issues and disrepair. I hope it goes better for them as the location and views really are incredible. On the plus side, the nearby beaches are wonderful, waking up to the sound and views of the ocean is very special and we really enjoyed our time in Weligama as stayed on the beach for the most part.

View is Nice.

Too pricy for what we got. The view is nice but when we were there there were no other facilities then just the room (no reception, breakfast etc). This felt weird. Also no cleaning in between the nights.

My friend and I worked remotely from this place, the WiFi was perfect which is really rare in Sri Lanka. The place has the most beautiful views from the upstairs balcony and the staff is friendly and helpful. I definitely want to go back!!
