Beach view from our room and location

During our stay, we encountered several issues that unfortunately made our experience disappointing. The bed was not comfortable, and the room offered no particular amenities — there was no quality shampoo or shower gel, and no bath towels were provided, only beach towels. No bottled water was supplied in our room throughout our stay. The hotel did not offer the possibility to have meals on-site, not even breakfast or a proper coffee. The reality did not match the photos we had seen prior to booking. In the evenings, the noise from neighboring rooms made it difficult for us to rest. Cleanliness fell short of expectations. We were disturbed by noises from mouses in the ceiling, and we even saw them on one occasion. Overall, the experience was disappointing, to the point that we decided to leave before our planned departure date.

Posizione ottima, in riva all’oceano e vicino ad un sacco di luoghi da visitare. Per gli amanti degli animali, a farti compagnia durante il soggiorno ci sono tre pelosi: Rambo, Kurt e Shara (tre trovatelli adottati dall’hotel, il che è fantastico visto che in Sri Lanka trovi cani randagi ovunque e chi se ne prende cura è da elogiare). La struttura è molto bella, organizzata come una surf house (cucina e luoghi comuni condivisi). Non hanno il ristorante, ma su richiesta ti portano da mangiare (molto buono) direttamente in camera.

It’s such a beautiful property! I stayed here in Sri Lanka, and even during the slow season they are running everything so smoothly. The place is very unique — right on the beach, and you can see the sea from your bed. The team is fantastic, very friendly and kind. Chef Krishn is amazing; he prepared a romantic dinner for my husband’s birthday, probably the best dinner we’ve ever had. Everything was perfect — the place is clean, peaceful, and so relaxing

Since it was off-season, nearby restaurants were closed, so you need to take a tuk‑tuk or scooter to Weligama — but don’t worry, the in‑house kitchen can prepare anything you like

It has a good location with a nice sea view. Staff are accommodating to my requests and very polite.

Room is not entirely clean. I saw stains in the bedsheet and pillowcases. Also water leaks in the terrace. Shared kitchen is not that clean as well. They don’t have at-least mini pantry in the room itself. They don’t have in house restaurant or cafe yet, I think still in process.

The view is absolutely incredible. The area is remote which I loved as I could fully disconnect. Staff are really attentive and on hand to help throughout the stay. Home cooked Sri Lankan breakfast was the best I had the whole trip.

Still doing building works but this didn't affect me as I wake up early and not on site most of the day.

In the common kitchen area no one picks up the trash and they just stay there for many days

The room and the private dining was superb. They also arranged for a small surprise which I had told them to do earlier. Thank you for arranging it.

They can include a small buffet style in future. And in-house restaurant if possible.
