We had a truly enjoyable stay at the property - it’s the kind of place where you settle in and instantly feel at ease. The view from the property is beautiful, facing the ocean with open spaces that let in the sea breeze all day. The common area is a real highlight - perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. Whether you're catching up on some reading or simply sipping a cold beer, the setting is laid-back and peaceful, with that calming coastal breeze making it even better. 🌬️🍺 The staff were amazing throughout. Praveen the owner of the property was always available and made sure everything was comfortable and smooth for us. A huge shoutout to Chamud and Thinin as well - both the boys were super helpful. Chamud especially was full of great recommendations for restaurants, local hangouts, and party spots, and he was always just a message away. They also provide airport transfers and bike rental on request, which made getting around super convenient. And don’t miss the rooftop seafood restaurant, Fish Bank. The vibe up there is great, and the seafood is top-notch - their Shovel Seafood Fried Rice is a must-try! On our last day, the team surprised us with a lovely breakfast - a thoughtful gesture that really left a lasting impression. This place has the perfect mix of good energy, relaxing spaces, and genuine hospitality. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Weligama.

Ac not working properly making noises, leaking on the floor. It was unbearable to stay in that room. Bed uncomfortable Towels like paper 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 days? Luckily we didn’t book for more days and we moved to another hotel.

The room looks exactly like the pictures and is absolutely stunning. Everything in the property is maintained well and you can tell that everyone has put their heart and soul into it. An added bonus was that the food preparation by the chef was exceptional and the staff go above and beyond and present it in a very nice way be it for breakfast for dinner. The beach that is in walking distance to the property is stunning and a nice place to chill it almost feels like a private beach. The owner is also very helpful and is available on WhatsApp.

We ran into a small problem where we were not able to find food near the property (they don't have a full time cafe or restaurant) not sure if this is an issue only during the slow season but most places within walking distance was shut. However, the owner ensured that we got food by sending someone with a bike to go get us food and another night we requested the chef to cook for us since he was on site. This isn't a huge problem but it requires some planning. But because the owner is very helpful you are able to manage without too much trouble.

The hotel is new with a trendy interior "like from Pinterest", but there is a feeling that it is not finished yet or, on the contrary, a feeling of abandonment (perhaps this is due to the end of the season). The view from the room is amazing, I think one of the best in this area. There are two beaches within walking distance, one with rocks, the other with sand and a good entrance to the water.

Of the obvious disadvantages: there is only one cafe nearby, where both breakfasts and dinners are mediocre. You will have to walk about 15 minutes to the rest of the restaurants and shops. You will also have to walk to a taxi and tuk-tuk because of the distance from the road (but it is quiet here). One of the days it rained heavily and water leaked into the room, the staff tried to solve this problem, but, unfortunately, it can only be solved by repairs. So keep this in mind if you are traveling during the rainy season. Overall conclusion: a beautiful hotel with a good view and proximity to the beach, but with a number of inconveniences. Average price-quality ratio.
