During the day the area and the beaches around are nice and easy to reach by walking. And the terrace view was nice.

The area felt unsafe during the night as there was no security staff at the hotel and no proper light around the street. The area itself is quite hidden and taxis and Tuk Tuk drivers reject driving there or picking up people. The place itself is totally open and everybody could enter to the doors at the rooms. During our stay at the first night somebody was trying to enter the room when we were inside. There is no table nor sitting chairs on the terrace. No place to leave things in the bathroom and to hang up the towels. The whole bathroom gets completely wet after a shower and stay like this for many hours. The sink to wash the hands and brush the teeth is outside in the terrace where everybody can see you. During our stay the hotel was under construction and the noises started early. All in all the pictures provide a cozy and relaxed and save stay but unfortunately this was not the case.

Situated next to some lovely beaches, is a short drive away from Welligama town.

La chambre, spacieuse et joliment décorée, offre tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour reposant et agréable. La plage est accessible en seulement deux minutes à pied, et le personnel, toujours aux petits soins et à l’écoute, veille à répondre à chacun de nos besoins.

The location was in the middle of nowhere and trying to get a Tuk to get out is very difficult. I waited 2 hours for a Tuk!Therefore you can’t plan anything.

The view from my room was absolutely stunning — you can see the beach almost all around (about 280°). The location on the cliff makes it feel really special. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was super tasty. The chef did a great job, and I even had a romantic dinner here which was really lovely. A big thanks to Anjana at the front office, she was so nice and welcoming. Overall, everything was perfect — I’d definitely recommend Ocean Bliss. 10/10!
