Nice place, well kept - way better than a local hotel.

No air-con that I could see, despite their being thermostats.

Real home from home, had all the facilities I needed and most previous adverse comments from others have been addressed

As others have said, some blinds in the lounge area are needed.

It's location

The location was good, as it was 8 minutes walk to the centre of St Albans. The kitchen was all integrated, no problems working out the oven, microwave, dishwasher or washing machine. Donna who services the apartments was so very helpful and kind, she gave me extra bedding and towels, also put up a window blind in the hallway which was a little exposed when walking from the bathroom.

Just a few tweaks and it would be perfect: The bedroom curtains need either black out lining or black out blinds installing...I ended up putting bin liners up to the windows to block out the morning light. Not enough cups,plates, cutlery or glasses...there was only one wine glass. TV is complicated to work. I had apartment 1 downstairs and at times it was very noisy when people were walking about in the upstairs apartment, one male guest was so loud I could hear him talking on the phone. Also guests walking up and down the stairs and slamming doors and the front door all the time. The mattress was uncomfortable and some of the pillows lumpy.

Difficult finding property and keys in the beginning Also needed to communicate with someone via email or WhatsApp not only UK phone number

Great location- short walk to the Main Street and very convenient for the station. I had a very comfortable stay and liked the very quiet location.

The wooden floors in the apartment above were very noisy when the person moved about late at night and early in the morning.
