Very stolid

The WiFi did not work

It was close to the station and it was very quiet. Everything was clean and it had everything I needed for a short stay. Once I was inside I was very happy with the accommodation and had a wonderful stay. It is also a short walk to the centre of town which was excellent.

I would have liked a space to store luggage when I arrived early. The entrance is very unattractive being a driveway to trash cans. Initially it made me nervous to go in to the property.

Location isn’t bad. Couldn’t walk to most stuff I needed.

My biggest issue with this place was the cleaning. The filter above the cooker was dripping with fat. Stains on cupboards and surfaces. Sofa hadn’t been hoovered in a long time and I really do not want to know what was in the big fluffy rug on the floor. Bathroom had a few issues too but not like the kitchen. Both dishwasher, kettle and washing machine needed descaling and cleaning. First I just thought these things was just a miss maybe, so I raised the lack of cleaning on my first day and goodness me, the verbal back talk I received from the host was unbelievable! She absolutely refused to acknowledge that any cleaning could have been missed. Everything was my fault and that I was looking for things to complain about. Also, the dishwasher wasn’t working when I arrived so I asked her to explain if I did something wrong and how to get it working, the response I got was “I don’t know, it worked on Thursday”. After taking the dishwasher apart myself, I found a spoon stuck on the side which caused the dishwasher not to work. It was just the lack in actually handling issues that arises when you run a rental property that I’m so disappointed with. Also, the duvet, underneath the sheets, were filthy. On other points, outside the property was also a smelly chimney that also made a very loud buzzing sound every hour or so. All in all, I cleaned the place myself, except from hoovering as they were no hoover in the property and I stuck it out as my schedule was already fully booked. I would not recommend the property in the condition I received it and I would not recommend the host.

The location was excellent for my purposes. The bathroom was very refreshing. The bedroom was very comfortable and well thought out. It felt safe and secure.

Needed a plug in the sink so I could wash up. Under the bed hadn’t been cleaned and there was rubbish and a drink bottle under there. I also had trouble regulating the temperature and was ridiculously hot at times. Maybe a manual is needed to explain things more clearly like the wifi password etc

Very modern and clean. Great location
