Great location for the price and the condo

No complaints but rooms can be a little bigger

During my stay in Pattaya, I stayed at a few apartments in The Base, and this one was the best 👍 Owner was always very fast to respond, and very understanding. I will be back here again!

Old and not fresh. Bed very hard. Need upgrade. Easy too fix with a little bit paint and new furniture.

If early check-in is not permitted please let guests use the lobby. Coz we have spent more than 5 to 6 hours or even more time to reach the location. and the security guard at the gate stopped us and did not allow us to get in. I need to find a different hotel to stay for 1 hour.

Had a two week stay here (booked for a few days, then rebooked because it was great!). The host is a Chinese guy, super responsive in emails, so any question I had was answered within minutes usually. And the key pick up was easy and well-explained. As for the room, it was super clean, had shampoo, soap, TP, a hot-water boiler and some kitchenware. It also has a washing machine on the balcony, which is great for longer stays. The TV has Youtube and Netflix (although you need your own account to use it). And while the Base is notoriously loud due to being surrounded by the loudest bar complexes in the city, the noise level wasn't bad due to the double-pane glass. I still used earplugs if I went to bed early since Treetown is pretty loud, but noise was never really an issue. And the view is good, too. All of the Base rentals I've had so far faced inward, so you are basically staring into someone else's room. This room has an unobstructed view north, so you can see both the water and the city. Anyway, I liked it here a lot.

The pillows are these brick foam things, so not really very good. And the comforter on top of the bed was a bit thin. It would also be good to have a bit more cutlery. Also, the washing machine needs a cleaning -- when you wash your clothes you get bits of some mystery gunk on them. I assume it was from the last visitor, since it got less and less with each washing. But it would be a good idea to clean then washing machine periodically.
