Steep dangerous stairs with loose carpet Open ceiling Dirty studio with toilet that doesn’t flush Room smells strongly of cigarettes TV doesn’t work Studio windows don’t close. No washing machine in the studio you need to use a communal one somewhere else in the building. The host refuses to take accountability for the poor service and accommodation he is providing. No refund was given even after checking out after one night. Beware!!! Charged over £400 and not received a penny back. I should have read the negative reviews the host will likely reply with lies but I have texts and pictures to prove all.

It is a converted house into flat lets. For its value it was OK . Car parking was great

Shower could have been more secure. Local shops over charge. The cooker rings- only one worked. You have to change over electrical plugs to make the microwave work. There is an electrical plug socket over the sink. The sink in the bathroom is very small. Smell of weed in bedroom from a previous tenant

The poor unclean entrance an staircase discusting, clearly been damp in the property side of bed plaster falling off, divan bed base old discoloured an evidence of mold staines, the 2 small bay windows behind bed do not close as hindges dropped only 1 out of 6 windows aren't broken. Window frame behind bed falling off, poor decor cracks in plaster, shower knob fell off as soon as i touched it, stove top only one hob works!! Door bar missing from kitchen to bathroom, laminate floor poor condition.. An was not hoovered,, hoover sat in corner totally full!! Pots for cooking look like they've been run over by a vehicle!! Debris left on kitchen cupboards an half inch of dust!! Plug hanging off wall i gather may have been for extractor fan, mouldy bathroom, cupboard falling apart, backs fell off, damged table

First thing we smelled as soon as we came into the property was the stench of weed. The flat absolutely reeked of the stuff, making my wife nauseous, and there was a bin bag covering the fire alarm clearly indicating the last guest was smoking it in the room. Of course, this is beyond the control of the host but why the room wasn't fully aired out and the smell taken out is within the control of the host and why the bin bag was still kept over the fire alarm is beyond me - massive safety risk. I called the host immediately and told him we can't stay here because the smell was making my wife sick and he admitted over the phone the cleaner reported the same thing and even mentioned the bag covering the fire alarm and said he would refund at least one night back to us then during the same call he started making excuses saying it was probably a neighbour the smell got through the windows but we walked through the rest of the building just fine without any offending smells. We had to leave the property within 10 mins of arriving and find somewhere else to stay. An hour later I called him back up to confirm we'd get a refund and he said we would then 2 days later when I texted him, he suddenly went back on his word and said he wouldn't be refunding me and claimed he went to the property after my call to check and he found nothing wrong which is a lie. I wish I had taken heed of previous reviews as another guest reported the same smell of cannabis. This host is untrustworthy and delivers terrible service. The bed was also super uncomfortable when we checked it, I don't know how it's even fit for use with the springs sticking out at the ends. The host will most likely reply to my review with a pack of lies but anyone considering booking this property, please please do NOT do so - I have a text conversation proving everything.

I arrived on the day and I was horrified. The place was in terrible state with very dirty and unhygienic accommodation. The fridge had rotting food sludge in the bottom of it which was clear hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The entrance hall had discarded letters left on the stairs which caused a massive trip hazard. The shower had excess hair laying around with second hand toiletries and empty packaging from previous people. There was a dirty duvet underneath the mattress which was evidently there due to the fact the mattress was falling apart. To top everything off there was an horrific smell of cannabis coming from the property. I contracted the owner and explained my concerns and complaints. The owner was extremely dismissive and was clear that I was being extreme and that there’s not an issue with cleanliness. The accommodation was unliveable and myself and my partner was not happy in staying there in these conditions. Due to this we left the accommodation and contacted the owner for a refund. The owner was clear that he wasn’t giving a refund even though we sent pictures of the condition of the property. If you value your money I would strongly suggest avoiding this place all together. This place is only fit for squatters and I’ve attached some pictures for your information. Very dissatisfied!!

The property wasn’t in good nick. I don’t think apart from the bed, it was cleaned. There was hair in the shower, there was dirt on the mirrors, the floor was dirty and even the hallway leading to the room. The bed was broken, and wasn’t comfortable. It wasn’t a great stay, unfortunately wouldn’t return back and wouldn’t recommend which is a shame.
