"Really lovely hotel apart from the broken boiler"

The room was spotless and really spacious with plenty of included refreshments. Brilliant location and very well looked after. Christina was a really friendly and helpful member of staff. If the boiler hadn't been broken it would have been a fantastic place to stay.

Unfortunately while we were staying at the hotel there was absolutely no hot water. I contacted the hotel via the messaging portal and just received an apology for the inconvenience but no attempt at a solution and no other communication. We were only staying one night and by 10am there was still no progress so we had to have a cold wash and check out. I fully understand a broken boiler is unavoidable but I expected more from the management than just a sorry when you're unable to shower in a heatwave.

"A perfect seafront property in Penarth"

The check in process went very smoothly with how to obtain keys from the entry key safe. We had room 1 which had a courtyard view. The courtyard is beautifully kept with some lovely planting. The room was very spacious, had a mini fridge, constant hot water, clean crisp bedding and towels. Tea and coffee was replaced daily. Bins emptied daily. A very quiet location right on the beach front. Jas from the property checked in to see everything was ok. There is no reception here but that is not an issue as contact numbers for staff are available if needed. There is a lift to the property via the Italian restaurant below if needed but we generally used the stairs. Flat screen had all the apps you would need during a stay - Netflix, Prime etc. I would definitely stay here again when in Penarth.

WE would have preferred a sea view but our fault as we chose the wrong room when booking.
