AC Hotel Detroit at the Bonstelle

Clean, friendly, easy to get to, updated, super nice room and bathroom. Quiet area. Will definitely be back

Lack of alot of food choices within the hotel.

The staff we met were all very nice. The main parts of the hotel…lobby, bar, common seating areas were all very nice.

The room lacked any amenities expected for a hotel where you are spending upwards for $400 (one night was over $500). There was one small container of lotion on the counter. No Q tip, no robe, no shower curtain. I have stayed at 2 star places that even give you makeup remover wipes. There was a flashing light on the ceiling all night long. The street noise is incredibly loud and ongoing for most of the night. Valet at $48 a night is really presented as the only option, and no where is it mentioned about the cost nor does anyone bother to tell you. When I asked upon checkout, I was shown a sign, which is not by the valet where you might expect it, but in the walkway between two doors dividing the outside and the lobby. And this was after being supposedly upgraded to a better room because of Marriott status.

Ich hatte im Vorfeld mehrfach nach den Parkplätzen gefragt und keine Antwort bekommen. Direkt nebenan ist eine Garage, diese kostet ca. 40Dollar/Nacht. Auf der Website steht das auch, auf Booking leider nicht. Das Frühstück wurde uns doppelt berechnet. Wir haben einmal bar gezahlt und dann leider erst zu spät auf der Rechnung gesehen, dass es hier nochmals berechnet wurde. Sicherlich nur ein Verständigungsproblem. Aber auch hier kam auf die Anfrage keine Antwort.

Very clean and fresh. I love new hotels and this was awesome.
