Waikato Uni guest room with private bathroom

The room has a toilet and a shower . It was pretty comfortable and private enough.

Convenient location.

The bed slats were falling off from under the frame. The unit was very hot. It would have been nice to have rubbish cleared from shared area. Not enough pots pans etc in kitchen.

You had your own bathroom still close to supermarkets and town etc....

Well.. this time was totally different we booked late and when we rang the cleaning staff we off sick so was just owners contacted to say room not readh please wait hour after after hour was asked for another hour ened up telling just leave as is will clean ourselfs giving been here before rooms are small and place is normally spotless the time was already after 10pm arrive and the place feels extremely different to our last stay out door knob was loose and the door wouldn't shut kept opening wouldn't lock not safe at all laying on the bed and it randomly opens the beds are comfortable but the heat of the house and rooms we literally were cookkng and no one could find the down stairs air con remote the stand alone fans provided you can't turn the temperature up and down and it stays at the temp in the air which was 27 and was not cool at all just heat the bathroom light didn't work was just the heat lamps and fan which also has strong heat never felt so hot in a house before the neighbor next room has extremely large about of people pull up for him so they were in and out up and down all day and into the night hearing everything doors opening shutting the stopping of feet up and down stairs that room also had a loose door handle lock and would jam and struggle to unlock again the house looked nice but compared to our last stay the house feels like it's recently been trashed things feel like they been broken but fixed badly which is a shame as it's quite peaceful here when have to rite quest another disappointment was woken after having bad sleep from the house hot like an oven the neighbors talking st top of there lungs waking me and partner up and then banging end talking extremely loud like through a microphone and in her religion lauange..

Everything was clean and well maintained.

Smell of weed was everywhere… from another guest.

Convenient location for uni students.

Place was much smaller than it looks. Cleanliness and hygiene not acceptable to have prior guests hair in bathroom. And shower drain was clogged.

Clean tidy and convenient.

Room was very clean, looked modern, good shower, nice little slippers to wear. Courtesy chocolate in room. During weekend stay it was quiet surprising for a university being just over the road. Good Wifi. Storage space was good which held a modern cooling fan and heater if required. nice to be close to the most basic of shops(Warehouse, 4 square and Hells pizza) 5 minute walk.

Not greeted by anyone when arrived, just an email stating how to gain entry. nor was i greeted by anyone upon departure. Said free parking which is out on the road in a restricted 3 hour where to park so had to call Ling, to confirm that it was ok to park on road. Both nights were on edge as to whether my vehicle would be towed away. Kitchen room was communal, but was clean. The room had no tv ,no tv in house anywhere. Bathroom needs the toilet roll holder re installed, found in the the vanity cupboard.
