Hyatt Place Reno

The good: Breakfast was excellent - top notch and far above my expectations for an American hotel (European breakfast is totally different). Staff was friendly and helpful.

Honestly I wasn't super happy with the room and bathroom. The worst part was when I went to use the lotion that they had provided and found it had been used and even someone's hair in the cap. Yuck! Shower water - took forever to get warm at night and in the am was too hot - very odd.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Hyatt Place Reno. Every staff member we interacted with was professional and friendly. Our room was large, modern and very comfortable. We enjoyed the modern furnishings throughout the hotel and loved the outdoor seating options. The optional breakfast was beautifully presented with many food choices including sausages, pancakes, French toast, eggs, fresh mixed fruit and vanilla yogurt with multiple toppings to add. Our only disappointments were with the pool and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was apparently closed for repair, although there wasn’t a sign stating so, and we discovered this when we stepped in to cold water. The pool was large and kept at an adequately cool temperature, but the water had a terrible odor which made us question the cleanliness and upkeep. We look forward to a return visit to this location which is located conveniently next to great shopping, dining and entertainment.

I appreciated the location (two of Reno's best restaurants are directly across the parking lot, and the shopping center is amazing). The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The room itself was outstanding, so quiet and perfectly clean. The new bathroom was wonderful--good fan, and excellent lighting.

I was disappointed in the breakfast room (very noisy) and in the offerings (scrambled eggs made with a binder that contains wheat/gluten, sausage also likely to contain wheat/gluten filler). It would have been great to at least have bacon.

We had a great stay... hotel is beautiful the room spacious and ammenities wonderful. The breakfast was the most beutiful layout i have ever experienced and so many options.
