Casa Misa Alina Suites

The apartment is spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and Carol was a gracious and understanding host. Would love to stay again.

Comfortable bes, clean and convenient location

The bed and shower was good.

The host changed us to a different air b n b and not casa monalisa. (Alina Ridge Apartments and said they were full. The room had cockroaches. Unclean bedding’s were in one of the drawers. Power went off at 2am . Netflix was not working, the utensils were dirty especially the cutlery. I had to reconnect the token by myself. Shower gel container looked so dirty, the sink in the bathroom was blocked 😓

Host was really poor in communication. The place we had book we were told was fully book. And we were moved to a different suite. And it was not communicated on time

I enjoyed my stay. The host was welcoming and offered assistance whenever I needed it. The environment was perfect with amenities really close by if not in the building, privacy was also top notch. I got value for my money.

Absolutely nothing!

HANDS DOWN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The host showed no understanding of the definition of hospitality. She changed our original room with no explanation (it was meant to be one bedroom and we got a studio instead) as we were traveling to the location. This was no issue - when she said we'd be moved to a room on 5th or 13th floor (initial room was on 12th floor) I requested the higher floor (13). The new room had substandard amenities. Cutlery was only forks and spoons (no knives). Drink ware was only two wine glasses. The soup bowls that we wanted to use for our meals still had the shop sticker on them and were wet in the cupboard. The bathroom smelled of mould. There was one unused roll of toilet paper and two extra rolls that had already been more than 3-quarters used. The sofa was worn down to the point of sliding off when you sat on it. The only soap available in the whole room was a half-full bottle of shower gel. The room was quite bare and unwelcoming, felt like it had just had a last minute quick wash and didn't feel very clean. I informed her immediately we checked in at 8pm, expecting to get the payment details on text. My phone started experiencing some issues so I did not follow up, but also didn't hear back from her. Instead, at midnight she showed up AT THE DOOR, and I discovered I had two missed calls from her around the same time. As she was demanding her payment, I took the opportunity to complain that the room did not match the pictures. She took offence and instead of offering to fix the issues, she initially tried to say we chose it, and suggested we pay for one night and then find somewhere else. She stated we were getting "value for money", probably referencing my booking.com genius discount, which was about 15%. She was basically kicking us out, so we chose to leave immediately without paying a single cent.
