I was very disappointed by Carolyne Achesa (she claim to be the owner). She doesn’t know what is customer service, customer satisfaction, very arrogant, rude, bossy. I booked a room to join on 24th at 4pm I had a long layover but my flight was amended the last, making me land to Kenya on 24th by six am, I requested to change the arrival time. immediately I received a message from booking with a link on how to contact the property and they guarantee my request which was 6 hours before I reached to the property. I was supposed to arrive by 6 - 7 am I ended up reaching around 9am. When I reached at the property the floor was dirty, hairs everywhere and cockroaches. I booked a one bedroom apartment which turned out to be studio room instead, I checked with security guard if there is swimming pool they told me NO but according to the pictures displayed online there is a swimming pool. She (Achesa) said that I was supposed to get a different room but according to the message she sent I was actually meant to be at room that particular room (1208). Later that day of 24tn afternoon hours, she sent me a message that my request to change arrival time was not accepted. Myself coming from a hospitality industry for quite some time I know and understand the value of customers, but according to what I experienced, it was worse, Achesa threatened to chase me out of the room because of payment she was using bureau money exchange and I was using the rates at the airport as well as my bank….☹️

Location was great for logistical purposes around the city

While I appreciated the general level of cleanliness, there were several aspects of my stay that left me quite disappointed. The kitchen area had visible pests at night, which was unsettling and needs urgent attention. The beddings were in poor condition—some sheets were torn and others had clear burn marks from ironing, which should not be the case for a place welcoming guests. The towels provided were quite rough and not comfortable to use. Additionally, the bathroom soap dispenser was empty, which suggests that the space wasn’t properly checked before check-in. Lastly, the listing describes the property as a one-bedroom apartment, but this is misleading. There is no separate bedroom; it’s a single open-plan room combining the kitchen, sleeping, and sitting areas. Accurate descriptions are important to help guests set the right expectations. With a few improvements and more attention to detail, this place could offer a much better experience.
