Serendipity ~ Romantic Hideaway in Ambleside

Fabulous views and location. The property is situated in an elevated position above the village, which was perfect for us. Plenty of space to cook, relax and unwind. Excellent communication from our host.

The bathroom is a little small and parking is very tight.

The apartment was big with a great view of town. It was comfortable.

There was a moldy smell in bathroom. Not sure what was causing it but it was terrible. Definitely needs to be checked

Perfect little apartment for a stay in Ambleside with great views over the town. It's just two minutes from the shops and cafes but feels very private. The kitchen has everything you need for a short stay and the bedroom was very comfortable. Dave was communicative and helpful, and he kindly let us check out late and leave the car so we could squeeze in a fell walk on the second morning!

Well a bath would be nice but I'm not sure how you'd squeeze one in!

Very central location, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Small but perfect for two. Parking space available just outside property.

To walk from the town was uphill. Not a problem for us but might be for some as it’s difficult to park in town.

The property has an amazing view and was in a wonderful location, just a 5 minute walk down into the town. There was loads of room for the two of us, with great facilities. Dave was an excellent host and was really accommodating. We will definitely be back again, thank you so much. 😊

Lovely property with a beautiful view over Ambleside. Convenietly located with a short walk into the town. Having stayed in numerous places in the Lakes, this will be the first place I look for next time I visit Ambleside.

Parking can be incredibly tight. Although very clean, the bathroom is looking a little tired.

The location was excellent

No coffee provided, the bottle of prosecco provided was a miniature bottle not really enough to share 😢

Really nice apartment, the owner, Dave, has taken great efforts to make it comfortable and cosy. V well equipped, clean, warm, easy to find and access. The location was perfect for us, just above the centre of Ambleside, so close to everything, only a few minutes walk down some steps, but its elecvated position meant you felt slightly removed from the noise and traffic, and the views were great. Would stay again, Many thanks to the owners
