DEJuan und seine Familie waren tolle Gastgeber und die Kommunikation im Vorfeld hervorragend. An- und Abreise sowie die Tagestour wurden unkompliziert von ihnen organisiert. Juan hat uns vor der eigentlichen Tagestour noch eine private Bootstour durch das Schilf der Uros Inseln gegeben, damit wir über Land und Leute etwas erfahren. 🤩👍🏻
“Nicht gefallen” trifft es nicht. Man muss es nur wissen und sich darauf einstellen: Die Unterkunft ist unbeheizt und ohne Bargeld geht nichts. (Wie wohl bei allen Unterkünften.)
IEAfter travelling South America for two months, this is my favourite place I’ve stayed. It was such a unique experience staying on the floating islands of Uros. Diego and Milagros made me feel so welcome and showed me around the islands for two hours to see how the community lives and how the islands are made. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and the room was so cosy and clean. I would also recommend doing the day trip to Taquile Island too if you get a chance.
Everything was perfect
GBEverything was great. Juan and his family were very welcoming with warm hospitality. Juan gave us a wonderful in-depth tour of the UROS community and did everything to make our stay very comfortable. He even allowed us to checkout late as our next Peru Hop bus was at night. Overall, a 10 out 10 experience.

VNJuan and his family were amazing from start to finish! He brought us around on our own little private tour, showing and telling us much more than any day trip ones. The lodge itself was BEAUTIFUL. The balcony part had a bed and table and chairs where we lounged in the sun and you can watch the sunset (or the storms in our case). The inside was perfect, probably the biggest bed I have ever slept in! Lovely hot shower. Juan made us a delicious dinner and breakfast and even let us chill in the lodge until whatever time we liked the next day before heading back to Puno. Highly recommend!

USWonderful place to stay on Lake Titicaca as Juan and his family made it very memorable with their exceptional hospitality! The bed was so comfortable with several blankets to keep warm, delicious meals and lovely tours of Uros community and Taquile Island. Definitely recommend as Juan goes out of his way to share his culture.
There was nothing I didn't like. There is no WIFI which was fine for me but may be an issue for some.
USA truly unique and special place to stay. The host, Juan del Puerto, made our stay with him unforgettable. Beautiful location to watch the sunset. Very cozy room and bed. Great tour of the Uros community. We loved our stay! Highly recommended.
