All was good

Everything absolutely wonderful staff brilliant and very accommodating to all our needs definitely will recommend

I’m upset to say but for the price per night I think a little breakfast would be in with price food nice hence the extra cost

Lots of parking space. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Clean. Big breakfast, paid for at check in.

Tricky to find somewhere to have dinner. Without a car could be very difficult. I think that delivery is possible with Uber eats or Deliveroo

Very helpful and friendly staff, comfortable room, excellent location for our canal walking. Enjoyable evening meal.

Would have welcomed coffee at breakfast.

Lovely traditional country pub, serving very good food. The accommodation was very clean with en suite and tea making facilities. There are nice countryside walks along the towpath of the canal which sits alongside, as does the railway line. There are lots of railway related items inside the pub which is interesting if that floats your boat.A great place to stay especially for a short break.

The most annoying thing is the noise of the M40 which is close by. There may be others who would find the trains a bit offensive, but that didn’t bother us.The other minor gripe is there are a number of small industrial activities in the nearby vicinity, which detract from the quaintness of the pub, however these are not obvious unless you walk down the canal.
