The Old Lyme Brewhouse

Absolutely loved the old Lyme Brewhouse - cosy, quiet, clean, comfortable, classy. And perfectly located.

The mild but unavoidable stress of briefly holding up the traffic while unloading the car.

Warm,comfortable, tastefully decorated. Well-equipped. Nice to have heating and some lights on when we arrived on a cold and stormy December afternoon. Appreciated the biscuits,tea and coffee and the bottle of Prosecco. Having the car park permit was useful and it was very close by.

There was nothing we disliked. Would definitely use the very pretty garden area in warmer weather.

Characterful, clean, quiet, lovely garden.

It worries me more these days staying in properties like this as I think about the general effect on the local community. It is quite obvious as you walk around Lyme that many such properties are now holiday lets and not locally owned and occupied. I may think twice in the future about choosing such a property.

Cozy and full of character,with a wood burning stove to cheer the autumn evening. Comfortable bedrooms. Quiet location just yards from the promenade.

Very tastefully decorated, well cared for property, well equipped kitchen. Cute patio garden with plenty of options to sit and read or just take in the sunshine. Very quiet location and ideally placed for the town center.

There is nothing that I didnt like

Tricky to find, a house number would help We were familiar with the area but still struggled to find the property
