Ohana Surf Guest House

Paula and Rodolfo made sure we had a beautiful stay at Ohana. Rooms are super clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing, one of the best we had in all our stays in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend booking surf lessons with Rodolfo just as you arrive. All in all perfect stay in Ahangama! Thank you guys!

An absolute pearl in Ahangama! The rooms were very nice and clean! It was cleaned daily and the beds were made! Also the owners and the employees were very very friendly and sweet! Breakfast was included and it was excellent and homemade! I would definitely visit again!

The street noise was a bit loud and the peacock 😅

The owners were great hosts! Very welcoming and even had dinner with them one of the days. Even booked a surf session with them where i got some good pointers to improve my skills.

The best guest house in Ahangama. We stayed for 6 nights. Starting from the first day owners made us feel home. Everything was perfect: location (on the main road), healthy &tasty breakfasts, clean and cozy rooms, nice pool. 100% recommend this place.

Rudi and Paula and the rest of the team couldn't have been more welcoming. Me and my family were expecting a basic stay and our expectations were certainly exceeded! We were greeted and treated like family, served a delicious breakfast each morning and our rooms cleaned beautifully every day like clockwork. The facilities were perfect, the whole building brand new and created by the owner himself! and the surf lessons that we had were the most fun my family had together on our whole trip in sri lanka. Rudi was even able to get my 74 year old dad up on a board! Highly highly reccomend for your next stay in Ahangama Can't thank you enough Rudolfo and Paula. The whole family cannot wait for our next stay.

The owners and staff are wonderful, friendly, laid back people who make you feel at home and extremely well looked after, give you all information about the town, places to eat or party and transport that you need. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The surf lessons are also great, I had never surfed before and was able to learn very fast. But I would recommend the guesthouse even if you don't surf. It was an excellent experience.

Everything is nice here, owner, surf , surflessen all People you meet. Paula, Rudolfi, chamill and ashan is amazing people 😅😇🤩😍

Clean room.

First of all they try to cheat on money. Rent a board or surf lesson is 5 x less on the beach. Air condition sometimes do not work. Guest House is very near to the loud street - no chill.

- the location - the pool - the balcony was nice - good selection of surf boards

- limited breakfast options - inconvenient timings of room cleanings (happening for about 5h each day so that when you’re in the pool - you can’t just chill - you hear the vacuum cleaner and all the stuff going on around) - sound proofing of my first room - I could hear everything being said on the stairs right next to the room and upstairs - suboptimal bathroom layout - the entire bathroom gets all wet the second you take a shower and the cleaning does not include change of towels - wet towels are placed back into the bathroom - construction going on RIGHT next to my room - with no prior notice - causing lots of dust, ALOT of noise and BAD smell - painting of doors and other topics happening a few meters away while you might want to chill on the balcony…. (had to switch rooms to get further away from it)
