GBThis was a great place to stop off on the way to Scotland for us. Abi and Callum were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was big and the bed was comfy. Breakfast is on a help yourself basis and there was plenty to choose from. We’d definitely stay again.
There’s nothing not to like about this place.

Showering wasn't the best experience.
GBGBCallum was extremely welcoming and ensured that we got the best from our stay. The location is fantastic for stopping over at a quiet spot with a footpath for walking the dog. It was lovely to have a family area to ourselves as well as shared access to the kitchen and large lounge area.
It's worth knowing that your host doesn't live on site, and it's an isolated location. This was not a problem for us but others might want to know this.
GBGBA friendly welcome by text and very good instructions on how to get in. Clean and full of character. It was lovely to be able to use the kitchen to make breakfast and an evening meal and it had a coffee machine! Would definitely stay again.
Minor things and according to personal taste. The mattress was rather too soft for me. My room was facing the main road and it was quite noisy, though this stopped after about 11pm. The heating was on, making the room so hot that I had to have the window open, which obviously meant I was wasting the heat. I couldn't work out whether I could turn down the heating in the room.
GBA quiet rural location a few miles from Scotch Corner. During check-in I was invited to make use of the shared facilities, and then was left to my own devices. Other guests were quiet when returning in the evening.
My room was next to a B road so occasional traffic could be heard at night.
