Great location and views, exceptional value for money, very comfortable, great communication with hosts, clean and well stocked with tea/coffee making supplies, the books were a nice touch although we didn’t have time to read, really beautiful house though the decor and furnishings not really to my taste but that is just personal preference and doesn’t affect how stunning the place is. Would definitely come back :)

Really don’t want to write what I didn’t like but know you’re looking for honest feedback. For the price we paid I really don’t feel comfortable listing faults as I think we’ve had an amazing stay regardless. 1. First appearances when arriving I thought the house was gorgeous but said oh god I bet it’s haunted… (sorry… I’m terrified of the thought so slept with lamp on!) 2. There were several dusty places and cobwebs but as a former housekeeper I’m aware this can sometimes not be helped. Spiders are quick to set up residence and dust is even quicker to settle. This is defo not a complaint though we were very grateful for the price we paid I do think the stay was worth more. 3. As in first appearances we went to explore the house and felt uneasy but again that’s a personal fear of mine, my mum and sister didn’t feel it. I’m unsure whether to leave this bit in tbh. Anyway. 4. Not sure about this either but assumed kettle to be filled in bathroom but had to tip water back out in order to get from under tap… thinking about it now we could’ve gone through (sent my sister…) to the kitchen to fill it up. Please don’t be disheartened these are merely observations and definitely not complaints. What you have and do here is to be highly commended.

The shower was poor pressure and made a lot of noise.

Well stocked kitchen for breakfast. Nice touch with coffee machines. Family room was very big with large private sitting area as well as bedroom

Decor not to our taste. Quite noisy as plumbing runs through room and next to busy road. Room not really secure internally.

The location is in a quiet location near to the motorway. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The host left ingredients in the fridge for us to make ourselves breakfast in the morning.

Room was warm and clean. Abi was superb with her dining out recommendation. Would return.

Car park was over the road, a little muddy and unlit. Other guests did not wash their crockery etc but put it in the dish washer so no dishes or plates available.
