Sable Ranch Bush Lodge

Rooms were very clean and bed comfortable although it will be better if it is an extra length bed. Staff was very friendly. Dinner was nice

Service wasn't very professional although Pablo the GM was very well spoken and helpful. The rooms although clean not that big and also the pillows weren't comfortable. Lunch took an 1h15 to be done and I do understand they are making items from scratch but still not acceptable to wait that long. Breakfast was also very disappointing and the bread served with breakfast was very dry.

The welcoming was impeccable, the staff was really friendly and pay attention to all your requests. The manager is a really funny guy and easy going. The chef "Blessing", is a blessing indeed, his food is out of this world. The rooms were clean. The game drive was fun. The animals roaming around, that was a nice experience. Overall it was a great place and I'm looking forward to go visit again

The friendliness and dedication of the stuff, Nthabiseng and Elizabeth just to mention some of them, the engagement they had with us, my children, it really felt like home. The game ride with the so knowledgeable Martin. The surprise coffee stop on the mountain was everything. The delicious and well presented food.

They should consider placing little rugs / mats by the bedsides and the shower. Just for extra comfort

The lodge is beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful and the food was great. We really enjoyed our stay. The game drive was beautiful.

Please consider more options forvegan and vegetarian meals

The staff were friendly and helpful ,special shout out to Lerato. The game ranger was knowledgeable and engaging. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

The lodge offers meal inclusions and is not self catering The meal preparation left guests waiting up to an hour after designated times, with one breakfast meal being served cold and unappealing including 4 guests not getting breakfast due to shortage of planned buffet. As guests after complaint we were served at 10 30 after being seated from 9 am. The next morning they did self correct and ensured Bain Marie's and sufficient buffet stock was available. The dinner the night before same issue with quantity on complaint they brought out steak that had been prepared earlier to guests that had already eaten dessert. Compared to other similar lodges in and around the area with the half board option they need to up their game to ensure a destination experience The lack of direct management and oversight seemed to be the main issue. Time management and guest relations could be better handled, it has a lot of potential.
