The Old Electric Store

Very little. It was more basic than the photos etc depicted.

Front door (off the street) entry system did not work therefore your room door was the only door between the room and the street. The bathroom had an awkward entrance due to the angle of the stairs to the floor above. The tiles were old and the grouting very mouldy. Noise was a real issue, we could hear every word that the couple next door shouted at each other. The rubbish from the previous occupants was left in a bag in our room. We stayed in a hotel in Ullapool the same week for the same price and the Ullapool experience was excellent - it included breakfast, a spotless room and ensuite, excellent tea/coffee making facilities etc in the room.

Location. The property itself has been newly remodeled and is excellent. Location quiet and good restaurants nearby. Best hotel on this travel!!

It was a little confusing at first accessing. Funny in that the directions said third from right and we would have said third to left.

Great location only a short walk from all amenities in Portree. Clean and comfortable

Cost a little high given location. On a par with bigger cities which I didn't expect
