Comfortable and clean bed to sleep in. The location was superb the view outside our room was breathtaking.

1. The water boiler was so filthy. It wasn’t their fault. Customers who previously stayed there had very little brains and boiled milk or something inside the water boiler. It was not usable for us. 2. The contact number provided if we needed anything was a local number. We are not from the UK, it will be nice to state in their info if we could whatsapp them if we needed anything. 3. It is a townhouse, again not the owner’s fault. We stayed in the ground unit, so we had ‘elephants’ (other customers) staying in the upper unit going up staircases and we can clearly hear the stomps because they were literally stomping up as a family!

A little musty

The specific booking was very good overall...just so very small...and, for the price, so VERY small. But that's the realistic environment for tourism at Scotland just now (= too much demand and too little supply, so prices go up). The location was excellent. The entry instructions were accurate. The cleanliness and comfort were excellent. Overall, I would do it again at this specific booking.

Right on the harbour

Loved the location. Room had everything we needed. When I asked for an iron and ironing board someone brought it to me at 9:30 pm! Great service.

The accommodation was extremely cramped. The bed was very small probably a double at best. The bathroom was tiny and needed care to not bump your head in areas. They could have provided extra tea, coffee etc if staying longer than one night.

The room was charming and cozy. The location was wonderful, just in front of the sea and close to nice restaurant and the main street. Before my arrival, the host was super friendly and was available to add one pillow to the room because I had some neck problem those days, and to send me some taxi numbers to book in advance for the last day. Checking in and checking out was easy to do.

The room's heating system was insufficient. The centralized system would turn off every two hours at most, and the other small heater was insufficient to warm up the room. When we arrived late evening, the temperature was only 14 degrees Celsius. The exact temperature persisted throughout the night unless we set an alarm to wake up and switch the heating system back on. My friend had caught a cold, and the situation was really unhealthy for her. On the second day, I contacted the host to request a second blanket due to the issue with the room temperature but received no response.

It was difficult to find as the house name was in small letters on a small plaque. We would have swapped the extra single bed for a couple of comfy chairs or a small settee.
