The location was great, provisions such as washing up products, towels, tea towels were excellent

In a what was otherwise a very clean apartment the sofa had what seemed to be hair and not from the head I would say. So I would instruct the cleaners to give that a good hoover and clean. I also asked if I could get into the property between 1 and 2pm on date of arrival but did not hear back from the hosts.

The location was great, the hosts very responsive and helpful. The big problem was the heat. It was very hot when I visited Portsmouth and there was no aircon - just a small fan to move the air around - and being on the top floor of the building also added to the heat. It was too hot to sleep most nights with only one small opening window. As others have noted the stairs are a bit of problem when you arrive with luggage but you only do that once. However, great location and good hosts

Great communication from hosts. Location within easy walk to Historic Docks. Clean, cosy and well equipped.

To be fair, we knew this when we booked, but the 55 steps up from street level do get the heart pumping.

We had a lovely weekend stay here. Walking distance to Gunyard Quays and the Historic Dockyard. Close to Southsea centre.
