The crown inn Longtown

Sheila was exceptionally nice and accommodating.. She allowed early check-in, fixed my evening meal even though pub was closed, and fixed me a delicious early breakfast. She could not have been more receptive to my needs.

I thought the room, although comfortable, was overpriced.

The Sunday roast was excellent! So pleased I had an opportunity to have it there. And many thanks to Sheila for serving it late. Very comfortable bed.

Large and comfortable twin room after a day's walking of Offa's Dyke. It's 4 miles from the trail but the owners will pick you up and drop you off the next day. The room had an excellent bath which was very welcome after 8 hours of walking. Excellent breakfast to kick off the day.

Internet was a bit patchy, so bring cash in case there's network problems in Longtown.

Good country pub with good food. Friendly and accommodating hosts.

Couldn't get television to work in bedroom.

Rural. Good parking. Friendly staff.
