The crown inn Longtown

All very good, lovely views

The only problem was its distance from the Hay Festival - but the actual accommodation was very good.

No fuss check in, clean decent sized room, good breakfast

Could do with a mirror in the bedroom

Stayed here with mum and sister whilst walking Offas Dyke, and it was absolutely perfect. Bit of a walk off the trail however it was the closest option! Sheila and her partner were incredible hosts, so accommodating and thoughtful. They have a fridge next to the rooms for fresh milk and water. The evening meal was exceptional - better than your standard pub fare and the breakfast menu was really good. The room was very comfortable and they upgraded us to have more space. Loved it!

Very charming pub set in a beautiful location.

Bedrooms perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable. Television needed some attention as didn’t seem to work.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Everything we asked for was provided quickly and with an infectious smile

Our room only had a bath with an attached shower head, but had no shower curtain so we couldnt stand. We are both slightly infirm and find getting on and out of a bath a bit of a challenge. But we managed.

Fantastic little pub with lots of atmosphere. Great staff, great food and lots of good beer. We had a very pleasant night's stay with a cracking breakfast in the morning. Would thoroughly recommend The Crown.
