The crown inn Longtown

Clean comfortable and a lovely evening meal Great full English breakfast in the morning

Nothing it was great

We stayed in the apartment for one night. Saturday 28th June. The Crown is an Inn that is 275 old. I has many original features. The ambience was very quirky. It’s in a rather remote area, very quiet and peaceful. It had a fridge, kettle, microwave cutlery and crockery. It was a very hot night but we had two fans to keep us cool. Breakfast was good with plenty of tea and coffee too. The owners were very pleasant, check in was very easy. Please support this local pub with accommodation. Places like this are hard to find.

Very hospitable family. Host prepared dinner to order for us even though restaurant wasn;t open that night, and he drove me to a nearby town in the morning to cut a few miles off my walk

Nothing - very well done for a small, out-of-the-way place

Perfectly positioned, friendly staff, nice food and great character!

A little bit pricey for the facilities

Good breakfast and can be made vegan on request

Beds were a little too soft and squishy but not terrible
